GOALS:
After working with Brown & Haley on a successful launch of their newest product – Mountain Thins – we were granted the opportunity to take on their 90-year-old legacy brand, Almond Roca.
Almond Roca is a hugely popular treat around the world, but that popularity had not yet translated to a large and engaged social following. Our primary goals were to connect with existing Almond Roca customers via social channels as well as bring a fresh look and feel to a brand that is often thought of as “your grandma’s favorite candy.”
STRATEGY:
With a classic brand like Almond Roca, we were focused on keeping their loyal, lifelong customers happy while putting an updated, social media-friendly presence in front of a new generation of socially engaged fans. Our multi-pronged strategy included highlighting their lesser-known products and flavors, like Caramel and Mocha Roca, as well as activating the communities of at-home bakers and chocolate lovers through inspirational recipes, tips, life-style photos, and user-generated content.
RESULTS:
Interacting with this loyal fan base has been delightful. We’re proud of the results we’ve achieved, with engagement rates regularly as high as 30% on organic posts.
